These are available to all players, and they're a bit easier to complete than most. We've got a significantly smaller area to search than we usually do, so you could probably handle some of these on your own. Regardless.

There are some excellent free rewards for anyone who spends some time stomping around in Pandora, with a cel-shaded wrap available for anyone that completes all the challenges.

Some of these might require a little bit of extra help, so let's get to it with the guides. Read on for a map, guide, and location for where to find three Vault symbols in Fortnite.

Fortnite Vault Symbols can only mean one thing: loot. In Borderlands, the series with which Epic's battle royale game is crossing over in the Mayhem event, Vaults indicate guns and other goodies, so we might as well expect the same thing in Fortnite.

This is one of a few Fortnite Borderlands challenges that are going live in the game to honor the third outing of the popular Gearbox series. With it, we get some special Borderlands gear and the new Pandora Rift Zone, inspired by the desert planet of the first two titles in the shoot-and-loot series.

And, as you can expect, it's this area to which we'll be paying our attention for this guide. Various Fortnite Vault Symbols have appeared in this cel-shaded zone, and you need to find three to complete the challenge.

There are more than three to find, but we've just listed the only ones you need to you can crack on with securing some more Victory Royales. So, before anybody else can get to best of the loot before us, let's get to it.

1. On a shack near the dinosaurs

We've visited the desert biome dinos plenty of times in challenges past but, just in case you're unsure, they can be found on the main road heading east and up to Paradise Palms. Just before the road starts to bend, you should see two big extinct reptiles; they're also on the edge of the Rift Zone.

Only one of the dinosaurs is in the zone, and opposite the road from that one is the shack we're looking for. Scrabble round to the other side facing away from the way and you'll see the big red logo with a 'V' on it.

2. In the eastern bandit camp

There are multiple bandit camps in this temporary Rift Zone but, if you head to the eastern one, you've got a Fortnite Vault Symbol ready and waiting for you. If you arrive at the camp at its northeastern corner, you should see the collectible image on a yellow container right at the entrance.

3. Northwest of the Oasis

Right on the edge of the Rift Zone, northwest of the Oasis, you should see a pile of three yellow containers. The Vault Symbol is facing towards the side of the zone and away from the beautiful body of water.

You'll see the logo you're looking for on the middle container. When you're all done, you have Fortnite Claptrap's missing eye to find an return to the annoying robot. The things we do for exclusive loot and XP.

Where To Find Vault Symbol Locations?

The Pandora Rift Zone is located in the desert, to the south of Paradise Palms, so you'll first need to head there to take on this challenge.

The Vault Symbols you need to search for are the Borderlands logo, and they can be found spraypainted on various objects around the area. There are several scattered around the Rift Zone, but you only need to find three of them to complete the challenge. We've marked down a few of the ones we've seen on the map below.

How To Complete The Challenge?

Once you know where to look, all you need to do is track down three of the Vault Symbols and interact with them. You don't need to find all three within the same match, but you do need to search different symbols for your progress to count, so you can't return to the same one in different matches. Once you've searched all three symbols, you'll unlock a Vault Symbol banner.

The Borderlands crossover event is running until September 10, so you have until then to complete all of these particular Borderlands challenges. If you manage to complete all six before the end of the event, you'll earn a unique wrap for your troubles.

The event kicked off as part of Fortnite's 10.20 update, which also introduced the new Shield Bubble item to the game. If you need help completing any other challenges from this season, be sure to check out our ongoing Season 10 challenges roundup for more tips and guides.
